We do not charge a fee for our first meeting. At this discovery stage we sit down together to determine your needs. Depending on our meeting we may need to do some market research which we do charge for. We charge a consultation fee for advice if that is what our client requests at R350 per hour.
This depends on the volume of work. If you have all the information readily available the process is fairly quick. Most website designs take 7-10 days to complete while other bigger projects have taken a couple of months to complete. We encourage our clients to help set timelines and become actively involved in the process towards completion.
All websites need hosting and from time to time there is maintenance that needs to be done. We always set a website up with the first year of hosting included in the price. Depending on what hosting package is allocated, that fee will become due in 12 months for the second round of hosting. Maintenance includes examples; clearing of mail boxes, website updates and search engine updates. We never do any work unexpectedly and will always consult with our client before we make any changes.
We work with a few companies who are copy-writing specialists. Their work is guaranteed with update options until you are completely satisfied with the content provided.
Yes you are able to. Let us know in advance that this is you intention. If you opt to maintain your own content we suggest that your website be built in a content management system to make the updates easier from your side. We offer live support for editing updates and show you the process live until you have mastered WordPress.
Yes, if you already have hosting we do not require your hosting to move to our system.
Absolutely. We make use of Skype to have regular meetings where we are able to screen share and send files. We design for clients in Europe and USA and have thus far been very successful at delivering a professional and efficient service.
We require a 50% deposit once we have agreed on the scope of work document. Your 1st year hosting is included and possible premium template purchases for WordPress. Our fee does not include the price of content writing as this will need to be quoted for once we have agreed on how many words per page need to be done.
